Xinbo Composites customizes carbon fiber sheets to fit customers’ projects. We customize and manufacture premium carbon fiber sheets and supply CNC machining services, such as drilling holes, slotting for counter-sunk screws, cutting and threading of finished details. All required operations are delivered with a high-precision 4-axis CNC milling machine. Furthermore, we also supply painting and assembly services.
Carbon fiber sheets and plates are made by prepreg lamination. First, pre-cut carbon fiber prepreg layers are laminated in. Then put them in the molds, and then vacuum compacted or pressurized to ensure complete resin penetration into the fibers while removing air and bubbles. Finally, the sheets are cured at high temperature, allowing the resin to solidify and form carbon fiber sheets.

We supply big size / large carbon fiber sheets sized 100×200 cm, and upon request, we also supply big size carbon fiber sheets that are shipped by freight forwarding, which in practice is economical for large quantities only – contact us
2. What kind of finish is available for carbon fiber sheets? Are carbon fiber sheets with a matte finish available?
We supply carbon fiber sheets with gloss and matte finishes.
3. Do you provide services related to carbon fiber sheet cutting with a CNC milling machine?
Yes we do. We offer carbon fiber sheet cutting with a 4-axis CNC milling machine. For a quotation please send the drawing in .dxf or step format, along with information regarding sheet thickness and quantity required.
4. Do you supply carbon fiber sheets of various thicknesses customized to individual needs? What accuracy can your company guarantee?
Our standard carbon fiber sheets are manufactured with accuracy up to ~ + 0.1mm. Upon request, we will cut carbon fiber sheets to the required thickness with an accuracy of +/- 0.05mm.
5. Do you supply unidirectional carbon fiber sheets or biaxial and triaxial carbon fiber sheets?
We supply carbon fiber sheets with 2/2 (twill) or 1/1 (plain) weave but we also supply unidirectional carbon fiber (UD) or biaxial and triaxial carbon fiber sheets.
6. Are carbon fiber sheets of quasi-isotropic type available?
We supply carbon fiber sheets with layers oriented at 0/90 degrees, but upon request, we also supply carbon fiber sheets with layers oriented at 0/90/-45/+45 degree carbon fiber sheets.
7. What is the thermal resistance of carbon fiber sheets?
Carbon fiber sheets offer thermal resistance up to 140~150 degrees
8. How can I cut carbon fiber sheets in my workshop?
The carbon fiber plates we make are easy to process. They do not flatten when milling on a CNC machine, and the edges are sharp and nice. The carbon plates we make can also be easily machined with household tools such as an angle grinder, drill, file, sandpaper, etc.
9. Can carbon fiber sheets be painted?
Actually, any further treatment depends on the intended use. All supplied carbon fiber sheets (and ones made from epoxy resin) offer resistance to UV. However, in the case of long duration or repeated exposure to sunshine (UV radiation), it is recommended to apply a layer of clear top coat on the outer side of the carbon fiber sheet to ensure total protection against UV radiation.
