Pultruded carbon fiber tubes and rods are composite structures made from carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) materials. They are manufactured using a pultruded process, which involves pulling continuous carbon fibers through resin and then curing them under heat and pressure, the cured tube and rod are formed in the shape and size of mold.
Fibers are running in the 0-degree direction, along the length of the tube, to produce an extremely stiff and lightweight rod/tubes with a very low coefficient of expansion, and offer a high stiffness-to-weight ratio tube and rod with incredible tensile strength.
